  10. For Pizza Sauce-
  11. 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  12. 10-12 Garlic Cloves, chopped
  13. 1 Onion, medium sized roughly chopped
  14. 2 tsp Szechuan Chutney
  15. 4-5 Fresh Tomato Puree of medium size tomatoes
  16. as per taste Salt
  17. 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (Optional)
  18. 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder (Optional)
  19. 2 tbsp Cornflour
  20. 1 cup Water
  21. For assembling
  22. 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
  23. 1/2 Green Bell Pepper
  24. 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper
  25. 1/2 Onion
  26. As required Cherry Tomatoes
  27. as required Basil leaves
  28. as required Boiled Corn
  29. 1/2 Tsp Green Olives
  30. as required Black Olives
  31. 1/2 Teaspoon Jalapenos
  32. as required Oregano
  33. as required Red Chilli Flakes
  34. 200 grams Mozzarella Cheese
  35. 100 grams Processed Cheese

Steps to make to make Wholegrain Extravaganza Pizza

  1. For making pizza dough you'll require whole wheat flour, olive oil, curd, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar powder, and some water.
  2. Take a large bowl to knead the dough, add whole wheat flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. Mix everything well and add curd. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes or until everything comes together as a dough.
  4. Add olive oil and knead for 3-4 minutes. Right now your dough would be sticky, do not worry it is meant to be sticky.
  5. Roll nicely and apply some oil so that your dough doesn't end up with a dry layer on top. Cover with a damp cloth(muslin cloth, partially wet) and leave in a dry place for about 40-60 minutes.
  6. For pizza sauce, you'll need olive oil, crushed garlic, chopped onions, Szechuan chutney, salt, fresh tomato puree, dark soy sauce, and water.
  7. Heat olive oil in a kadhai on medium flame. Add chopped garlic and saute.
  8. Add chopped onions and saute until onions turn translucent.
  9. Add Szechuan chutney and saute for a minute.
  10. Add fresh tomato puree, water and let it cook until the color of the puree changes.
  11. Add salt, soy sauce, and cornflour slurry. Mix vigorously for a minute else all the cornflour will sit down. Cook for 8-10 minutes until the sauce isn't too liquidy.
  12. To make cornflour slurry in a small bowl take cornflour to add 2-3 tbsp water and mix well. Add this slurry to your sauce.
  13. Take the kadhai off the heat and let it cool completely or until it comes to room temperature. Once cooled you'll see a nice thick sauce.
  14. Keep all the veggies of your choice ready, cut them into thin slices. Here I have taken corn, onions, red yellow green bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, black and green olives, jalapeno peppers, basil leaves, oregano, and chili flakes.
  15. Now to make a pizza base take your resting dough and softly knead it for 3-4 minutes. To make thin crust cut into 4 equal parts or to make the thick base cut into 2 equal parts.
  16. For dusting the dough take 3tbsp whole wheat flour and 3 tbsp semolina (Rava). Mix well.
  17. Roll out one portion into the flour, dust some on the rolling board, and roll out into a thin chapati structure about 1/2 cm thin. Prick the pizza base with the help of a fork.
  18. Cook on both sides for 3-4 minutes on medium flame on a non-stick pan or tawa.
  19. Now either transfer the base to a plate or keep it on the pan itself. Apply pizza sauce over the base and grate mozzarella cheese.
  20. Add veggies of your choice, grate some more cheese.
  21. Transfer back to tawa/pan, add some butter on tawa and brush some butter on the sides of the pizza base, cover with a lid and let it cook on slow flame until the cheese melts properly and crust becomes a little hard (as per your preference).
  22. Sprinkle some oregano and chili flakes. Homemade tasty and healthy pizza is ready. Serve hot and enjoy the gooeyness of cheese with your loved ones.
